I was asked to answer a questionnaire that was supposed to tell who I really am. The questionnaire was to be answered through pictures to be created into this mood board or visual board.

LAAGAN KAAYO DAW KO

Summer ended a few sleeps ago but i just had the time to make a summer ender post now. HAHA. I'm lazy eh.

So here are some documentaries of my laags. My father got so angry by the end of summer since I was never in the house. I'm just glad I'm not grounded :)

Ok. Here goes:

Angeli's Bohol Blowout

BOHOL! Taking a turista-like picture by the famous landmark, the Blood Compact Shrine.

Ate Isan is hot.
Hot pud si Ate Nessa.

Virgin Island, Bohol
We didn't go for a swim here since it was so shallow at the time but it gave a great opportunity for "photo shoots". Vanity.

We had this tubig tubig "photoshoot". There was more water than my face in this pic, lol.

Fine Arts Student's Organization Envisioning

There weren't many pics on this since we went swimming very far from the shore :(

Obstacle Course :D
The climb up to the start of the obstacle course was so hard...

..that we played on the swing before starting. Feeling like little kids all over again :)

All smiles before actually starting the course :D

Pool At My House
Just before school started, my classmates went to our house to have our last hurrah. Bye summer. Hello school. What a bummer :<

Portraiture

Art is never ugly. It is always beautiful.

This post is long overdue. I made these portraits in December. hehe

I haven't undergone any portrait class or lecture so I just relied on my learnings from the tonal values lessons that I received in class and workshops :)

think!

A friend introduced me to her blog: http://damselmondido-up-comm2011.blogspot.com/

YAY! more blogger friends! (Another new blogger firend btw: http://thebindicator.blogspot.com/)

Damsel's blog is full of her thoughts. I am jealous. I'll make a blog filled with my thoughts too. HAHA.

I have always been the overthinker. I always think of stuff. I think of the same things most of the time. I think of my close friends, special friends and my plans for the future. I think I have wonderwalls. When I go for a 10 minute walk towards the jeepney stop where I can take a ride to go to school early in the morning and when I walk the same distance from the jeepney stop to my house at night, these are the times I get into "thinking mode". Sometimes, I think thinking is a bit bad because it detaches you from your existence in the world in that moment. I take a one hour jeepney ride everyday to and from school. I think I also get into thinking mode during those times. I think I had been thinking a lot that I don't even recall the times I actually think. I also think I'm stupid because I think of the same stuff over and over again. I don't know how I do that. While, I'm typing this, I don't know how I do that monotonous act everyday. Oh life is boring! But in that thinking mode, I actually think I'm thinking of fun stuff.

The word think was overused in this post. lol

I feel stupid while typing all these but today, I've been missing someone that I got to recognize I've been thinking of him and how much I have been thinking of other stuff all these times.

Quoting what Damsel said " I've been used to a life of boredom, habits and predictability." My thinking hobby is a great example of that. That is indeed boring, when you're not in thinking mode. haha

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

February 16, 2013 was Otalufest VI held in my dear alma mater UP Cebu. I make it a point to really join this event because it is a rare opportunity. Not all college students are given this chance. Usahay ra gyud ka makakitag eskwelahan nga nag-encourage sa mga estudyante magcosplay XD

In high school, I belonged to a circle of friends who call themselves otakus (anime nerds?). I was slitghtly influenced. I watched a few animes during high school due to their influence. I wached Bleach, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, La Corda d'oro, Cardcaptor Sakura, Ouran and Shugo Chara. Very few, right? But this little background I have got me more enthusiastic into cosplaying than "normal" people.

But this year, my diva friends decided to cosplay Wizard of Oz, not really an anime but I don't know why they decided to do this. I was just told I'd be ( tentenenen!) Dorothy. :D I obliged even when I didn't really know why. They said I fit the part. They said.

We planned to do a cyberpunk cosplay of the story's main characters. We lacked time to make bongga (grand) costumes even when we decided on this last summer. Oh the effects of procrastination! :DDD
But still, we ended up with uber duper nice outfits anyways :D *u*

In case you're wondering, if you've heard of the material, rubber foam, then, you'd know how precious it is to costume-makers like us. Look at the War Machine costume among the pictures below. It was made of rubber foam! My friend Shari blogged the first time we encountered this material in one of projects in class. http://oishari.blogspot.com/2012/12/crazy-hats.html

Me as Dorothy. I even had a real dog cosplay Toto :3

Sabina Espina as the Lion, me, Shari Paclipan as the Scarecrow, Andrea Evarientos as the Tinman

With some of our friends.. therefore, posing was not obligatory HAHA
Awesome cosplay of war machine! Woah!
Some other classmates cosplayed the fairytale, Peterpan
 :) very cute!
Another classmate cosplayed as the female version of Pinocchio. Cutee ^^
Many people took pictures with us. Many had their pictures taken near the dog. Basically, the dog was the star of the show! :D

For more pictures form our "photoshoot"(like the first one), visit Shari's blog.

A friend's blog: http://maddeninglysilent.wordpress.com/

I can never bring myself to make a literary post. This friend's blog is full of them. Now, I posed myself the challenge of posting one soon, even if it's just going to be poetry. *Fingers crossed*

Maybe, just maybe. You'll see one soon. HAHAHA! They say, Dream the impossible dream :P
